Kate Caravella had been co-facilitating family and executive interventions for over twenty-five years, with great success. Interventions are facilitated nationwide, and not location specific. Our style is a blend of approaches and is entirely dependent upon the specific needs of the family system. All interventions are thoroughly planned, we are unable to do what is often referred to as “quick turn around” interventions.
We specialize in interventions where the need is substance abuse/addiction, general mental health, and eating disorders.
Clinical Care Management Services are designed for individuals who are not currently in a residential program and would benefit by having an extra level of support as they engage a program of recovery. ICM clinical care managers are similar to life coaches, though have been trained in and have vast experience in addiction disorders, executive functions challenges, and mental health.
Customized care plans based upon the clients unique short and longer term needs are created and clinical care managers work directly with the client to address the challenge areas regularly. Additionally, clinical care managers act as the key “point of contact” for all professional members of the clients team, as well as their families (when appropriate).
Clinical Care Management sessions and plans often focus on one or more of these areas:
*Time Management
* Maintaining Balance
*Personal Organization
*Budgeting and Financial Management
* Educational/Vocational Planning
* Relapse and Symptom Prevention and Management
* Social and Communication Skills
* Medication Compliance
* Accessing Social Services and Private Services
Effective June1, 2020, ICM Associates now offers an innovative new service which is designed to work with families as a whole. Family Coaching sessions can best be described as a blend of recovery coaching, skills training, education, and support.
Family Coaching involves working with families who are motivated to strengthen their family relationships, navigate through the stages of recovery and wellness, and begin to either heal, or simply improve. Sessions are facilitated by a designated Family Coach and follow a structured and concise format.
Coaching sessions are topic specific and are designed around a unique and specialized needs of the particular family. For more detailed information about our new Coaching Services, please click the tab below to be taken to its website.
Assessment/Placement services are for those who have made the decision to seek professional services and desire to identify the very best match for their personal needs. An ICM staff member performs a very comprehensive assessment of the client and accomplishes this by interviewing the client, obtaining collateral information when available, and via online assessments.
Upon the completion of the assessment process, staff reviews and analyzes the information received and provides the client with formal recommendations. Taken into account is the identified client wants/needs, warranted level of care, feasibility, location, service type, and clinical history.
Because ICM has always maintained a natural position and is not aligned with any one program, agency, or professional, we have the ability to refer the client to the service option that is best for them.
