Professional Team

Kate caravella, CAP, CIP, NCAC 1


s the co-founder of ICM and the CEO. She has been working in the fields of addictions mental health for 23 years. Kate’s formal education is in Social Work, Women Studies, and Addiction Science. She is the Lead Intervention Specialist and Lead Clinical Care Manager for the company. Prior to co-founding ICM in 2001, Kate worked for several nationally known treatment facilities. Kate has been published on the subjects of case management and intervention and is a member of the NAADAC, AIS, and NII. She has been awarded the CAP (Certified Addictions Professional) certification and is also nationally and internationally certified as an addictions counselor. Kate is a Certified Intervention Professional (CIP). Kate’s speciality is working with treatment resistant individuals, women, clients with severe co-occurring disorders (substance abuse, mental health, eating disorders, and process addictions), and those with conflicted family dynamics. 

Dawn Sheehan, Psy.D.


Dr. Dawn Sheehan, Psy. D. is a licensed clinical psychologist with active licenses in good standing in both Florida and Pennsylvania. She is nationally recognized forensic psychologist who is frequently called upon as an expert witness. Dr. Sheehan has over twenty years of professional experience and maintains a small private practice in PA. She is a Lead Intervention Specialist with ICM and is the director of the executive intervention program service. Additionally, Dr. Sheehan oversees our modified psychological and professional consultation service offering.

Sarah Myers, MS.


Sarah Myers, MS. has a graduate degree in Mental Health Counseling with a speciality in Addiction Science. She first joined ICM Associates in 2015 as a part time case manager, sober escort, family liaison specialist, and intervention specialist. Most recently Sarah was a family therapist at a local community social services/mental health program. In 2017, Sarah accepted a full time position with ICM as Clinical Care Manager in our Tampa Bay Office. She currently serves as the director of our new CAT clinical care management services program and works with both adults and children. Sarah’s expertise is working with complex family systems, clients who are at high risk for relapse and individuals who present with more than one clinical issue.

Adrianne Lipscomb, BS.


Adrianne joined ICM Associates in 2019 as our South Florida Clinical Care Manager. She’s education and degree is in Recreational Therapy and she has several years of professional experience working with individuals with mental health challenges. Additionally, Adrianne is a Certified Recovery Coach and has worked with clients who have substance use issues and Co-occurring disorders. Adrianne is also a published author.
